The man indicated that he first contemplated the construction of a traditional building, but the high costs led him to opt for an alternative more integrated with the environment: underground rooms.
Julio, who has dedicated more than three decades to the art of stone carving, is working with his family on the gradual expansion of the hotel, which they plan to take to 50 rooms. The opening of the first three double roomswhich have basic services such as water, electricity, toilets and television, marks the beginning of a project that, in addition to offering an impressive view and connection with nature.
In addition to the hotel’s amenities, visitors will be able to enjoy the facilities of the Giant Sculpture Parkwhich include a restaurant, sports field and a stand area for the purchase of local crafts, thus turning this underground hotel into a must-visit tourist destination for those seeking authentic experiences in the region.
“We are opening for carnival. We have already finished one room, in the next few days we will finish two more,” she said in conversation with the aforementioned media outlet.

During an interview with the media Ideal WaveJulio Salcedo explained that the cost of accommodation in his underground hotel, per night, is 400 soles per night for a double room and S/200 for a single room, both prices include breakfast and offer an impressive panoramic view, ideal for the Capturing photos and recording videos for calendars.
