They rescue 30 migrants and detain a man in a hotel in the Doctores neighborhood, CDMX

A total of 30 people of foreign origin and who were in a hotel located in the Doctores neighborhood of the country’s capital were rescued on Thursday, March 7, as they were deprived of their freedom. Besides a man was arrested.

The above was reported by the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) through its social networks.

In the image shared by the authorities on Thursday afternoon you can see three security agents guarding the entrance of the establishment and at its doors you can see that it is the Lord Hotel.

This establishment is located on the Dr. Velazco Street, near Lázaro Cárdenas Park and a few blocks from the Niño Héroes Metro. The capital’s prosecutor’s office also shared the image of a man identified as Angel “N”who is the person who was detained after the rescue of people of foreign origin.

“As a result of investigative work, @PDI_FGJCDMX agents rescued 30 people, of foreign origin, who were deprived of their liberty in a hotel located in the Doctores neighborhood. “One person was arrested.”

In another of the photographs you can see several subjects in one of the hotel rooms, one of whom is wearing an Argentina national team shirt, although so far the country or countries of origin of the rescued people have not been confirmed. .

Newspaper reports indicated that the rescued people are allegedly from Central America and according to data shared by the media Aztec Information Forcesaid people would have previously been in another hotel, also located in Doctores, for around 70 days.

Preliminary information indicates that the operation by the authorities derived from a complaint. In addition, reporter Saúl Díaz managed to capture the moment in which the now secured man is entered into a patrol car while being escorted by various officers and apparently the captured man will be accused of human trafficking.
