On Sunday, March 10, another edition of the race took place Kardias TUDN, a project that seeks to raise financial funds to help children who suffer from heart disease and promote sports in Mexico City. On this occasion, several personalities from the national artistic environment participated in one of the three categories that were part of the route and among them stood out Tania Rincon.

The host of the program ‘Hoy’ ran 10 kilometres (middle route) and received a call when he finished his route. He also joined the cast of presenters who followed the trajectories of both his colleagues from Televisa as well as the participants in general.

Unfortunately, it mattered little that Tania Rincón broadcast a large part of her route, since a rumor began to circulate on social networks about her alleged cheating when she finished the race.

The Michoacan host reappeared on her official Instagram account this Thursday, March 14, to clarify all the rumors circulating about her stellar participation in Kardias TUDN 2024, mainly the accusations of ‘cheating’ that arose against her for receiving a medal when ‘he did not finish the 21 kilometer route’.

“There is a note circulating out there that little by little began to gain a lot of strength. I was not suddenly understanding the comments on social networks until suddenly I received this publication from a pseudo information page, where they spread completely false news: The driver Tania Rincón cheated in the Kardias TUDN race”.

“I didn’t run 21 kilometers, I was very clear, I was very honest from the beginning. I wasn’t feeling well physically and I said I was going to run 10 kilometers because I had the flu, which, for sure, would have ended the race, but that’s not how I wanted to finish it.”

In this way, Tania Rincón clarified that she did not run 21 kilometers, but 10, and all participants received a medal when they crossed the finish line regardless of which category they participated in.

“It seems very serious to me that they want to distort this information when the only thing the Kardias Race seeks is to help children with heart disease, a race where I was also an ambassador (…) I ran 10 kilometers and it wasn’t in 43 minutes, it was in 53 minutes and here I am showing my face and putting the truth before everything,” he continued.

Finally, she attacked those who spread false information about her participation and called her a cheater. Likewise, she called on the public to verify the information before falling for fake news.
