Zegona buys Vodafone Spain for 5,000 million euros

London, Oct 31 (EFECOM).- The Vodafone group announced this Tuesday that it has reached a binding agreement with the British fund Zegona for the sale of 100% of Vodafone Spain (Vodafone Holding Europe), for 5,000 million euros, after intense negotiations.

In a statement released today, Vodafone points out that, once the agreement is completed, Vodafone’s consideration will comprise at least 4.1 billion in cash and up to 900 million euros in the form of preferred shares.

Under the agreement, Vodafone will provide certain services to Vodafone Spain for a total annual service cost of €110 million. EFECOM
