The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has explained that there is no record or previous complaints in the case of the couple who died allegedly at the hands of their son – who later committed suicide – this Friday in Barcelona. He stated this in a statement, in which he reported that, at around 4 p.m., the judicial delegation had completed the removal of the bodies of the three people. The case remains judicially open until the police report is received. At around 10:00 a.m., Mossos d’Esquadra agents were required to go to the Sant Martí district of the city, where they located the lifeless body of a woman inside an apartment and with signs of criminality. An hour later, in Molins de Reis (Barcelona), the body of a man was found who showed signs of violence and, also, the body of another – son of the other two deceased – who “could be related to the authorship of the events and that he had allegedly committed suicide”. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Barcelona Metropolitan Police Region and the South Metropolitan Police Region are trying to clarify the facts, while the judicial authority has decreed the secrecy of the proceedings.
