In Comú it will be “a Malay drop” to demand what has been left out of the government pact

Madrid, Oct 25 (EFE).- The spokesman for the commons, Gerardo Pisarello, has recognized that the coalition government agreement signed by PSOE and Sumar has left out “important” things, such as the regulation of rents or limiting the price of mortgages, but they will insist “like a Malay drop” to incorporate these measures.

They would have liked to go further, also on the issue of immigration, to regularize thousands of migrants, but they will continue “fighting” to achieve it within Sumar, the first secretary of the Congress Board also assured in a press conference in the Camera.

Regarding the criticism of the agreement by some parties that the PSOE and Sumar count on to support the investiture of Pedro Sánchez, among them the PNV, he said that it is “very difficult for him to believe” that these parties are against the increase in the minimum wage, oral health or the tax on banks and large fortunes taking into account the current situation.

Basque nationalists complained yesterday about a possible invasion of jurisdiction and that the language of the text of the pact did not seem to respect the self-government of the territories.

On the other hand, Compromís deputies Águeda Micó and Alberto Ibañez have not put a single but to the programmatic agreement and have celebrated the “specific part of the Valencian agenda” and, specifically, that it includes the “problem of underfinancing” of the Valencian Community and a mechanism to compensate for this “discrimination” from the next budgets.
