Air Europa cancels its flights to Tel Aviv, while Iberia resumes operations

Madrid, Oct 8 (EFECOM).- Air Europa has decided to cancel flights between Madrid and Tel Aviv this Sunday due to the war in Israel, while Iberia Express has operated again after canceling the planned routes yesterday.

The attack by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel has caused many airlines worldwide to decide to cancel scheduled flights to the country and its main cities.

The Spanish Embassy in Israel has launched a message on the social network to travel to Ben Gurion Airport, located southeast of Tel Aviv.

Air Europa explained this Sunday through social networks that, “due to the situation in Israel, it has canceled flights UX1301 and UX1302 between Madrid and Tel Aviv” on October 8.

In the case of Iberia, the company has assured that Iberia Express has operated flight IBS3980 to Tel Aviv.

“In the coming days the programming will be adapted to the situation in the country and we will inform affected customers,” he announced on social networks.

In this way, Iberia Express has resumed its activity after canceling flights to/from Tel Aviv this Saturday.

For its part, the Vueling company has indicated that given the situation in Israel, flights to/from Tel Aviv are affected and are experiencing delays. “We deeply regret the situation and will inform you of the changes via email,” he said.

Sources from the airport manager Aena have explained to EFE that of the eighteen flights scheduled for today to Israel, three have been cancelled. EFE
