During the morning press conference this Friday, the federal president was questioned about the presence in the United States of Los Chapitos, faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, but avoided speaking on the subject. However, he took the opportunity to show off the progress in the fight against fentanyl.
He indicated that during the meeting of the delegations of both countries, held on Thursday afternoon at the National Palace, the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) presented a report about it.
“To put it briefly, they were very satisfied and surprised US officials for the volume of drugs seized, the laboratories destroyed, the arrests that have been made and the confiscation of weapons,” he explained.
