The third section of the Barcelona Court has handed down an ‘in voce’ sentence this Tuesday after the accused has acknowledged the facts after an agreement between the parties, and has imposed four months in prison for blackmail or conditional threats and four years of imprisonment. prison for discovery and disclosure of secrets for profit.

The Prosecutor’s Office initially requested a total of eight years in prison for the accused: two years for the crime of blackmail and another six for discovery and disclosure of secrets for profit.

According to the indictment from the public ministry, the accused had sexual relations with a man in exchange for money on September 23, 2020, and recorded the intimate encounter between the two without the victim’s knowledge.

The public ministry maintains that the accused contacted the victim a few days later, with the intention of getting him to pay for the studies in exchange for not disseminating the intimate content.

The young man – the letter continues – sent the victim a photograph showing the price of the studies and told him: “I will give you an hour to think about it, otherwise I will have to continue putting pressure in other ways that will not be as really pretty.”

“If we reach a good agreement, believe me, I will leave you alone, and this will never happen to you again,” the accused told him, according to the letter.

The public ministry reports that the young man showed up at the victim’s house on October 1, 2020 and left a note with his phone, which was picked up by his wife, who called the number on the paper without receiving a response.

The woman, according to the indictment, received a response via WhatsApp after half an hour, where the accused told her: “I am very sorry to have to do this, but do you know who your husband spends time with?”

Immediately afterwards, the accused sent the victim’s wife a photograph of her husband having sex with him in a hotel bed, and told her that he also had a video and that in order for it not to come to light, they could all come to a “reasonable” agreement, explains the Prosecutor’s Office.
