Peru, today, Thursday, December 7, will know which teams it will face in the new edition of the Copa América. which will be held in the United States next year. – Bolillero 4: Jamaica, Bolivia, Concacaf 5 (Honduras vs Costa Rica) and Concacaf 6 (Canada vs Trinidad and Tobago)
Two teams from the North American, Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation (Concacaf) still need to be defined. These will come from the Nations League play-off and will be confirmed on March 23 in a single match. Honduras will clash against Costa Rica, while Canada will do the same with Trinidad and Tobago.
The national squads that are in pool 1 are the seeded teams. Argentina (current champion of the Copa América), Mexico (current champion of the Gold Cup), Brazil (best positioned in the ranking) and the United States (best positioned in the ranking).
Each one will be placed in a respective group. All the previously mentioned teams already know which area they will go to. The ‘albiceleste’ will go to A, the ‘tri’ to B, the hosts to C and the ‘canarinha’ to D.

There is an important rule to keep in mind before the draw. There cannot be more than three Conmebol teams or more than two Concacaf teams in the same series. This will prevent the same teams from facing each other as in the Qualifiers.
