Madrid, February 19 (EFE).- The Government will ask the autonomous communities to combine controls in the countryside and reinforce inspections, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, explained this Monday.

In a press conference prior to the Agricultural Policy Advisory Council with the regional councilors of the sector, which is being held this Monday, Planas assured that there are “very simple measures that are in the hands of the communities” that can be adopted to respond to the concerns of farmers.

As an example, he has urged the coordination of actions so that a single inspection is carried out on a farm a year, and that the communities call for certain European aid every year aimed at young people who join agricultural activity in order to give them ” certainty and security”. EFE
