Lazio won 2-1 on their visit to Celtic

On date 2 of group E of the UEFA Champions League – 2023-2024 tournament, Lazio suffered as a visitor, but got three points against Celtic by beating them 1-2. The goal of the match for the local team was scored by Kyogo Furuhashi (11′ 1T). While the away goals were scored by Matías Vecino (28′ 1T) and Pedro Rodríguez (50′ 2T).

On the next matchday Celtic will face Atlético de Madrid at home, while Lazio will play at home against Feyenoord.

Lazio came in second place in the Group E standings and has 4 points. Celtic is in fourth place and did not add points.
