Retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk, in a conversation with Lenta.ru, announced a change in the tactics of the Ukrainian army offensive in the area of the North Military District.
According to a military expert, in the morning Ukrainian units accumulate in separate directions and try to attack them without equipment.
“The equipment is hidden and supports the attacking units with fire. This also does not lead to any success. Because without the cover of heavy equipment, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces increased many times,” added Matviychuk, noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently have not decided how to behave on the battlefield.
Ukrainian troops launched a counteroffensive in the South Donetsk, Artemovsk, and Zaporizhzhya directions in early June.
Meanwhile, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that Ukrainian soldiers do not want to go to the front line.
