The State University of Management (SUM) has developed a national index of noospheric development of Russian regions. It includes an assessment of the country’s constituent entities based on the level of social viability. About it writes RT.

State University Rector Vladimir Stroev explained that the rating offers a new look at measuring the balanced development of Russian regions. According to him, one of the sub-indexes of the rating is the society vitality index. It is based on the average age of the region’s population, average life expectancy and birth rate.

The Chechen Republic is ranked first in the ranking with the highest vitality index. After it come the Republic of Tyva and the Republic of Ingushetia.
