Turkey and Greece will be able to solve all problems if they exclude third countries from the process. This was stated by the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, RIA Novosti reports.
“I hope that we will start a new process (with Greece),” the Turkish leader noted.
According to him, the republic intends to “reduce the number of enemies and increase the number of friends.” According to Erdogan, the interests of the two countries lie “in the same direction.” He expressed confidence that the parties will be able to resolve “disagreements on some issues” through negotiations. To do this, according to the president, it is necessary to exclude third countries from the process. After this, there will be no questions left that cannot be resolved.
On November 18, Erdogan proposed changes to Turkey’s electoral system. According to the Turkish leader, the current Turkish constitution contains the “spirit of a putschist mentality,” and its goal is to create a new basic law for the country.
